Access help with your child's developmental skills before any delay has a significant impact on their self confidence and ongoing development. The magic of Occupational Therapy is our speciality in using fun play activities and toys to work on 'boring' 'difficult' skills like handwriting and toothbrushing - your child/young person won't even know they are doing therapy!
Book a session if you, your family or your child's teachers are concerned about fine motor skills (drawing, buttons, knife and fork), toileting, eating, dressing, or other tasks.
Occupational Therapy Options
Phone Consult: $40 per 1/2 hour
By appointment only - If you are out of town, or just want a few ideas to try, this option might be for you! Describe the topic of interest and receive tailored advice to your situation.
Strategy Session: $160
Appointment with parent/caregiver and child/young person to have an in-depth initial discussion, exploring every day living tasks and your family goals. You will receive a detailed strategy plan for development of the raised issues and provision of printable resources as appropriate - this plan may take a few days to compile and can be emailed or posted to you.
Therapy Sessions: $70 per half hour
Following the Strategy Session, book in for regular 1 on 1 sessions to work on those developmental skills! You might want 2 or 3 sessions or more to work on specific goals set by you and your child/ young person. Parents/caregivers will attend and engage in these sessions (unless previously arranged), the goal being that you can observe what is being done and work on these skills at home also.
